Nadia Quijano

Doctoral  student

Nadia Quijano is a civil engineer with a master’s degree in Structural and Construction Engineering from UPC. She has experience in both academia and industry, having worked as a university lecturer in the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) and as a technical analyst and project engineer in the private sector. Currently, she is a doctoral student and researcher in the C3S group.

Nadia’s research focuses on concretes made with recycled aggregates and recycled fibers from wind turbines, examining their mechanical performance and fatigue behaviour. She is also involved in the quality control of steal fiber-reinforced concrete.”
