Albert de la Fuente is a Full Professor at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He is the coordinator of the research group C3S.

· Fibre Reinforced Concrete: material technology, structural design, and standardization
· Sustainability assessment of infrastructures and construction processes.
· Sustainable cement-based materials development and structural design oriented to 3D printing construction technologies”
